Ammon News - Rain showers began falling in Irbid and northern areas on Thursday morning.

The Jordan Meteorological Department expects rain showers in parts of the northern and central regions, sometimes extending to parts of the eastern and southwestern regions, sometimes accompanied by thunder in some northern and eastern regions of the Kingdom. Winds will be northwesterly, active in speed with strong gusts sometimes causing dust, especially in the desert regions.

The Public Security Directorate warned drivers about slippery roads with the arrival of the first rains of the season.
