Ammon News - The Practical exams for the Community College Certificate (Shamel) students for the summer 2025 session, began on Saturday 6, 2025, and continuing until Saturday, September 13, 2025, according to a previous statement by Professor Ahmed Fakhri Al-Ajlouni, President of Al-Balqa Applied University and Chair of the Higher Committee for the Community College Certificate (Shamel) Exams.
A total of 5,874 students from 54 university and community colleges supervised by the university are expected to take the exams, distributed across 20 study programs. Forty-five exam centers have been approved, supervised by 165 specialized central committees, with 495 examiners comprising faculty members from national community colleges and experts from the private sector.
The practical exam schedule and student allocation to centers were announced previously, and students can check their exam locations and times on the unit’s official website.
The total number of students registered for the Summer 2025 session reached 8,387 across 119 majors, including: 5,801 first-time exam takers, 2,039 repeaters, 365 students who have exhausted their attempts and will retake all papers, and 182 students aiming to raise their grades.
Theoretical exams for the summer session will be held from Wednesday, September 17, 2025, to Thursday, September 25, 2025. Student allocations and computerized exam sessions will be announced later on the unit’s official website.
