Ammon News - The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) media spokesperson, Tahrir al-Qaq, confirmed on Saturday that electricity loads in Jordan have begun to return to normal after the heat wave subsided.
Speaking to Al-Mamlaka TV, al-Qaq said that electrical loads have decreased significantly and are beginning to return to normal levels at this time of year.
Jordan's electricity system faced major challenges during the recent weather conditions, but it successfully overcame them, she added.
She explained that last Wednesday recorded the highest electricity load in the Kingdom’s history, and that in the days preceding it, Jordan had been setting new daily records.
