Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi met on Tuesday with Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad al-Shaibani, ahead of the start of the joint Jordanian-Syrian-US tripartite meeting.

The joint meeting will discuss the situation in Syria and ways to support the process of rebuilding Syria on foundations that guarantee its security, stability and sovereignty, meet the aspirations of its brotherly people and preserve the rights of all Syrians, as well as consolidating the ceasefire in the Suwayda Governorate in southern Syria and resolving the crisis there.

The meeting, which is being held at the ministry's headquarters, aims to discuss the situation in Syria and ways to support the process of rebuilding Syria on foundations that guarantee its security, stability and sovereignty, meet the aspirations of its brotherly people and preserve the rights of all Syrians. It also aims to consolidate the ceasefire in the Sweida Governorate in southern Syria and resolve the crisis there.
