Ammon News - Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), Hussein Shibli, confirmed on Tuesday that the value of Jordanian aid to Gaza since the October 7 war has reached $335 million.
During the Government Communication Forum, Shibli said that the JHCO was established in response to a royal vision aimed at translating Jordanian values and reflecting the sentiments of philanthropists both inside and outside the Kingdom, within an institutional framework, and encompassing all relief initiatives within and outside the Kingdom by its partners.
The JHCO's funding sources include the Royal Court, endowments, and programs and projects funded by regional and international organizations and institutions, Shibli added.
JHCO's Secretary-General pointed out that approximately 117,000 needy families benefit annually from the support provided by the organization.
