Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone, in coordination with the military security services, thwarted on Saturday a drone infiltration attempt on its western front within the area of responsibility, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army stated.

Border Guard forces detected the drone and tracked its path. The rules of engagement were applied, and the aircraft was intercepted and shot down inside Jordanian territory. The aircraft was transferred to the relevant authorities for investigation, the source added.

The source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties with utmost efficiency and vigilance, working resolutely to prevent any attempts aimed at threatening the nation's security and stability.
