Ammon News - Jordanian Armed Forces/ِ Arab Army (JAF) carried out on Saturday five airdrops to deliver humanitarian and food aid to the Gaza Strip, with the participation of sister and friendly countries, carrying 36 tons of that aid, within the framework of expanded international cooperation, to enhance relief efforts in light of the continuing difficult humanitarian conditions in the Strip.
The Jordanian aircraft were accompanied by members of the Lower House's National Guidance and Media Committee, who were there to closely monitor the humanitarian and relief efforts being made by the armed forces to efficiently deliver aid to the Gaza Strip.
The committee members praised these efforts, commending the important and vital role played by His Majesty King Abdullah II in providing all forms of support to the brotherly Palestinian people.
The operation involved five aircraft, including two from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, one from France, one from the United Arab Emirates, and one from Germany, highlighting the strong international collaboration and coordination in the relief efforts.
This international participation comes as part of the Kingdom's efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, to mobilize international support for the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza, to alleviate the critical humanitarian conditions there.
Thus, the number of airdrops carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces on the Gaza Strip rises to 135 airdrops, and 279 airdrops carried out in cooperation with sister and friendly countries.
