Speaking to "Petra", Al-Khawaldeh said that the new patient is a worker at a security and protection company in Al-Bashir Hospital, adding that the epidemiological investigation teams have conducted around 20 COVID-19 tests for potential contacts. "The new infection has been sent to a quarantine facility in the Dead Sea region," he added.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Director of Health Affairs in Tafileh, Khaled Al-Khawaldeh, announced that the first case of COVID-19 has been recorded in the governorate on Thursday dawn.

Speaking to "Petra", Al-Khawaldeh said that the new patient is a worker at a security and protection company in Al-Bashir Hospital, adding that the epidemiological investigation teams have conducted around 20 COVID-19 tests for potential contacts.
