Zreiqat said the doctor, who got infected after coming into contact with a COVID-19 patient, still has not shown any symptoms and been taken to the Dead Sea's quarantine area. "The epidemiological investigation teams isolated the department and are collecting more swab tests from potential contacts" he added.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A doctor working at Al-Bashir hospital's surgery department has tested positive for the coronavirus, hospital's director general, Mahmoud Zreiqat said on Thursday.

Zreiqat said the doctor, who got infected after coming into contact with a COVID-19 patient, still has not shown any symptoms and been taken to the Dead Sea's quarantine area.

"The epidemiological investigation teams isolated the department and are collecting more swab tests from potential contacts" he added.
