Public debt rises by JOD1.318b by end of April

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The public debt of Jordan has risen by more than JOD 1.318 billion as the public debt now constitutes 101.7 per cent of the estimated Gross Domestic Product (GDP), according to the monthly bulletin issued by the Ministry of Finance.

The bulletin shows that the public debt rose to JOD 31.394 billion by April, compared to JOD 30.076 billion by the end of 2019, 96.7 per cent of the GDP.

The Kingdom's GDP rose to JOD 31.99 billion in 2019.
