Relatively hot weather forecast today

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday, bringing moderate weather conditions in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast to appear, with southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, blowing dust in many areas, the JMD added.

Temperatures will again Wednesday, so fair conditions will prevail in most regions, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be relatively hot, with westerly moderate to brisk winds, stirring dust in the Badia, the JMD noted.

The weather will return to be relatively hot on Thursday as mercury levels increase few degrees, while winds will be southerly to westerly light, the JMD further said.

Temperatures in the capital, Amman, will hit a high of 30 degrees Celsius during daytime, dipping to 15 degrees at night. Highs in the port city of Aqaba will rise to 36 degrees, while lows will stand at 20 at night.
