3 new Covid-19 cases, 8 patients recovered in Jordan on Monday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health announced 3 new cases of novel coronavirus were recorded in the Kingdom on Monday, increasing the caseload since the start of the pandemic to 711.

8 patients have recovered distributed as follows: 3 at Prince Hamzah Hospital, 3 at King Abdullah University Hospital, and 2 at Queen Alia Hospital, according to the Covid-19 media briefing issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health.

On the new infections, the briefing said 2 cases belong to Jordanian truck drivers arriving to the Al-Omari Border Crossing, and the other to a citizen coming from the United Arab Emirates, currently quarantined in a hotel in the capital Amman.

1936 laboratory tests have been carried out today, bringing the total conducted since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic to date to 165,109, the briefing showed.
