Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, inspected on Thursday the availability of strategic stockpile of preventive and curative drugs and medical equipment at the ministry''s central warehouses.

During the visit, the minister appreciated the efforts of technical, pharmaceutical and administrative teams at the central warehouses to follow up on the procedures to meet medical supplies demand of various governorates and to plug any drug shortage.

The minister was also briefed on the availability of medical supplies and the mechanisms used to provide hospitals, medical, and epidemiological monitoring teams with sterilizers and specialized clothing in dealing with emergency, and field cases.

The minister also inspected the mechanism to provide the governorates with chronic medicines deliveries, and to funnel drugs to all pharmacies by the designated transport means according the standards in place.

In the same context, Dr. Jaber inspected the emergency departments in Prince Faisal Hospital, and reviewed the conditions of the patients referred to the various hospital wards, and was reassured about the preventive and precautionary measures taken while treating patients swiftly.
