The PSD spokesperson said police was notified that a tourist of German nationality was missing in Wadi Rum, adding rescue-and-search teams were formed from the region's security and civil defense apparatuses. The search teams, he announced, have combed the area until Wednesday afternoon when the tourist's whereabouts were spotted, adding the visitor was found with a broken foot, and was airlifted by a medical evacuation helicopter for treatment.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Public Security Department (PSD) personnel have managed to rescue a tourist who went missing last night in Wadi Rum area.

The PSD spokesperson said police was notified that a tourist of German nationality was missing in Wadi Rum, adding rescue-and-search teams were formed from the region's security and civil defense apparatuses.
