During a tour of the park, built on an area of more than 500 dunums, King Abdullah was given a summary about the park. The tour included a visit to some of the park’s facilities, during which His Majesty spoke to a number of citizens who expressed appreciation for the King's attention to public spaces. Moreover, His Majesty was briefed by Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh on the park, who highlighted the project as one of the Greater Amman Municipality’s largest parks designed to be family friendly, free of cars and accessible for people with disabilities. Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, Adviser to His Majesty for Communication and Coordination Bisher Khasawneh, and Adviser to His Majesty for Policies and Media Kemal Al Nasser accompanied His Majesty.
