On Tuesday and Wednesday, a slight rise in mercury levels is expected, but similar autumnally pleasant conditions will prevail across many parts of the country, with northeasterly to southeasterly moderate winds. Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 26 degrees Celsius, and in the southern cities 24 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 14, 13 and 12 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 33 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 21 degrees at night.
