In a statement, the PSD's spokesperson said that the Southern Amman Police were notified over a person entering an exchange shop in Marj Al-Hamam area and threatened to use a firearm in his possession, as he tried to rob cash. However, citizens and a CID member, who were present at the scene, thwarted the man's robbery attempt, nabbed him, and seized a plastic pistol, an electric stick, and a gas canister in his possession, the spokesperson explained, adding investigation was launched with the suspect.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel arrested a person who attempted to rob a money exchange shop in Marj Al Hamam area in the capital Amman, the Public Security Department (PSD) announced on Thursday.

In a statement, the PSD's spokesperson said that the Southern Amman Police were notified over a person entering an exchange shop in Marj Al-Hamam area and threatened to use a firearm in his possession, as he tried to rob cash.
