[5/6/2019 6:16:18 AM]

AMMONNEWS - Oil prices tumbled on Monday after U.S. President, Donald Trump, said he would sharply raise tariffs on Chinese goods this week, according to Reuters.

Statistics showed that U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures were at $60.83 per barrel, down by $1.11, while Brent crude futures were at $69.78 per barrel, down $1.07.

Trump said on Twitter on Sunday that he would hike U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods this week, pulling down global financial markets, including oil futures.
