During a committee meeting held on Thursday, chaired by the head of the Legal Senate Committee, Kamal Nasser Barham, and in the presence of the head of the Labor and Social Development Committee, Sawsan Majali, and Minister of Labor Samir Murad. Discussing the amended labor law, Barham said it aims to take into account the developments and changes that took place in the labor market during the past years and to address them effectively to ensure swiftness of its application and to reduce disputes over its provisions.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Joint Law and Labor Committee of the Senate approved the amended Labor Law 2019 as passed by the Lower House of Parliament with some changes.

During a committee meeting held on Thursday, chaired by the head of the Legal Senate Committee, Kamal Nasser Barham, and in the presence of the head of the Labor and Social Development Committee, Sawsan Majali, and Minister of Labor Samir Murad.

Discussing the amended labor law, Barham said it aims to take into account the developments and changes that took place in the labor market during the past years and to address them effectively to ensure swiftness of its application and to reduce disputes over its provisions.
