AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz met Saturday with a group of youth representing heads of student councils, We Are All Jordan Commission and Haqiq (achieve) Initiative, a national leadership program and one of the Crown Prince Foundation's initiatives.

Razzaz told the meeting at the Royal Cultural Center, which was attended by Culture Minister and Minister of Youth Mohammad Abu Rumman, that Jordan had made in its first centennial many achievements and laid the solid pillars of a state that withstood political turmoil in the region.

The Kingdom, he said, seeks to enter the second centennial looking forward to building a national renaissance inclusive of all its people, of which youth will take the lead in charting its main features.

The premier said the government's priorities in the coming two years are only a step on the path of the development enterprise, stressing that the youth sector will be present in its projects and programmes.

Despite the difficulties it is facing, the youth sector is offering encouraging youth initiatives that will make a difference in the lives of young people and that should be supported, he said.

Razzaz added that the government, through its work program, focuses on entrepreneurial funds and supporting youth in their working environment, stressing the need to provide youth with the opportunity to lead the reform process, especially as human resources are at the centre of production.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister reviewed the government's program based on three key areas- production, solidarity and rule of law.
