In a video that went viral on social media, the Swedish student is shown refusing to take her seat to ensure that the plane would not take off. However, Swedish news site Fria Tider reported that the man was convicted of physically abusing his daughters and wife, “whipping them” with a long charger. Swedish prosecutors announced the activist will be prosecuted “for crimes against aviation law,” according to a report by The Independent.
