Army chief, Pakistani counterpart discuss military cooperation

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. General Mahmoud Abdul Halim Freihat on Tuesday discussed with his Pakistani counterpart General Qamar Javed Bajwa, aspects of joint cooperation and coordination, means to enhance bilateral ties and issues of common interests.

Lt. Gen. Freihat stressed the strong relations between the two countries, and welcomed the opening of wider prospects of military cooperation between the Jordanian and Pakistani armies.

The Pakistani General praised the role of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army( (JAF) and its supportive stance towards Pakistan, calling for more coordination and cooperation in various military fields.

The meeting was attended by Pakistani ambassador in Amman, Jneid Rahmat, senior military officers from the JAF, in addition to the Pakistani military attache in Amman.
