Rise in temperatures forecast until Wednesday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in mercury levels is expected for the next two days, but they will remain around their annual average creating moderate conditions across the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 27 degrees Celsius dropping down to 19 at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 38 degrees and lows standing at 26, the JMD added.

Mercury levels will continue to rise on Wednesday becoming above their annual average and bringing relatively hot weather in Amman, the Badia regions and the plains, while it will be hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted.
