AMMONNEWS - Fighters from Yemen's armed Houthi movement blew up house the house of ex-President Ali Abdullah Saleh in the centre of the capital Sanaa on Monday, residents reported, as his whereabouts remain unknown.

However, an official from the Congress party denied the report calling it Houthi propaganda. Saleh’s loyalists had lost ground on the sixth day of heavy urban combat with the Iran-aligned Houthis, his former allies in nearly three years of war with a Saudi-led military coalition.

Earlier report emerging from Yemen said Houthis blew up house of ex-president Ali Abdullah Saleh in central Sanaa. His whereabouts are said to be unknown, according to residents.

Meanwhile, International Committee of the Red Cross has said that at least 125 have been killed and 238 wounded in fighting in Sanaa over the last five days.
