Cold temperatures to slash spring-like conditions

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A tangible in temperatures is forecast Sunday and Monday ranging during the day between 14-17 degrees Celsius in most areas, but it will remain relatively cold in the highlands and pleasant in other parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Light showers are also expected over the two days, with northwesterly brisk winds stirring dust mainly in the southern and eastern regions.
Temperatures are forecast to further plummet at night reaching 6 degrees in the capital, 8 in the northern parts and dipping to 1 degree in the southern areas. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register 20 degrees dropping to 13 at night, the JMD added.
A rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday bringing spring-like weather in the hilly areas, and relatively warm in the Badia regions, the Jordan Valley and the Gulf of Aqaba, the JMD added.
