King opens PSD's hotel and chalets in Aqaba

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Saturday inaugurated Public Security Department (PSD)'s hotel and chalets on Aqaba's southern beach.

The King toured the hotel's facilities, and was briefed on services offered to PSD's personnel and their families.

PSD director, Maj. Gen. Ahmad al-Faqih said the establishment of the hotel came in accordance with royal directives to upgrade the quality of services provided to PSD's cadres, even outside the official working hours, noting that a number of such ventures will be implemented in Amman and the northern governorate of Irbid.

The hotel which was established on a 23-donum land, includes a shoreline island, swimming pools and playgrounds allocated for children.

The inauguration was attended by the Chief of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), the Royal Court secretary general and the mayor of Aqaba.
