Welcoming Saudi media women participating in the 13th Arab Women Media Conference, al-Fayez said "our Arab nation is going through difficult conditions that require all of us to work to restore prestige to our cultural heritage." He also pointed to Jordanian-Saudi deep-rooted relations, while reiterating Jordan's stance which rejects interference in the affairs of Gulf countries. The visiting media women commended the development Jordan achieved in various fields, as well as the key role Jordanian women play at various socio-economic and political levels. They also noted the importance of a communication network among Jordanian and Saudi media women to further promote their roles in various domains.
