They indicated that Jordan has made significant achievements in the last ten years towards digitizing its economy, stressing the importance of speeding up the process of transformation. Chief Executive Officer of Zain, Ahmad Hanandeh, said the Kingdom's infrastructure in the telecommunications and information technology's sector is ready and supports the shift towards a real digitized economy. Umniah's Chief Executive Officer, Ziad Shatara, noted that Jordan has taken several steps towards digitizing its economy, stressing: "We in Jordan at the beginning of a digital transformation journey."
