Drop in temperatures forecast Thursday, rain on Friday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Fair weather conditions are expected to prevail Thursday in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, as temperatures will below their annual average.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief, winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk.
A further in temperatures is forecast on Friday, but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail across the country with a chance of light showers in the northern and central regions, the JMD added.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk stirring dust mainly in desert region.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Saturday; therefore fair weather conditions are forecast in most areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk with clouds at low altitudes, it said.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 19 , while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 37 degrees dropping down to 25 at night.
