Kingdom to be affected by heatwave

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will be hit by a heatwave as of today, sending mercury levels 5 degrees above seasonal average, the Jordan Meteorological Department said on Friday.
The weather, therefore, will be relatively hot in hilly areas and hot in other parts of the Kingdom with northwesterly moderate winds.
Similar weather conditions are expected to continue over the coming few days, therefore, it will be hot in hilly areas and scorching temperatures will prevail in various parts of the Kingdom, especially in the Jordan valley and the Gulf of Aqaba.
Temperatures in Amman for the coming three days will reach a high of 36 degrees Celsius and a low of 25.
