New incentives to stimulate Gulf tourism to Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan Tourism Board director general Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat has said the government carried out periodic reviews of rules and regulations to prop up the tourism industry, prior to introducing new incentives, according to the Jordan Tourism Board.

The new plans include facilitating the smooth entry and reception for Arab visitors and their domestic helpers.

Al Razzaq Arabiyat also noted that Jordan Tourism Board has launched tourism campaigns seeking to encourage Gulf tourists to spend their summer holidays in the Kingdom.

He explains the campaign includes adverts, commercials and workshops featuring Jordan's attractions, landmarks and historical sites, in addition to promoting cultural activities.

Al Razzaq Arabiyat stressed that the ministry is keen to address all obstacles facing the sector.
