Hot spell to continue till Saturday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The heat wave that started affecting the country earlier this week is forecast to continue until Saturday, pushing temperatures above their seasonal average on most parts of the Kingdom.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), temperatures are forecast to reach their upper thirties in most parts of the Kingdom.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust mainly in the Badia regions, the JMD added.

Daytime temperatures in Amman is forecast to reach 36 degrees Celsius, dropping to 25 at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 43 degrees, running down to 32 at night, it added.
