Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - France has condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Jordan Armed Forces near the borders with Syrian on Tuesday and killed a number of army and security personnel.

The French government expressed in a statement issued by the French Embassy in Amman today, it condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

France also voiced its support to the Kingdom in the fight against terrorism.

Speaker of the Kuwaiti Parliament Marzouq Al Ghanim voiced the parliament's full solidarity with the Jordanian people, and its strong condemnation of the criminal attack that targeted the Kingdom's security and stability.

In a cable to Senate President Faisal Al Fayez, Al Ghanim expressed his condolences over victims of the terrorist attack that targeted a military post near the border with Syria killing 6 military personnel.

The Kuwaiti Parliament speaker also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The UAE has strongly condemned the blast at the military post, dedicated for serving and helping the Syrian refugees, on the northeastern border of Jordan, killing six soldiers and wounding 14 personnel of the Jordanian armed forces and security agencies.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said, "As it denounces this criminal and cowardly act that targeted a number of personnel of the Jordanian Armed Forces, it confirms its solidarity and backing of the UAE leadership, government and people to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in all measures it takes to protect its borders, maintains security, stability and its territorial integrity."

The UAE reiterated the need for concerted international efforts to tackle violence and terrorism in all its forms and whatever its source, and those who stand behind it. The UAE also extended its condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Jordan, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

The Arab League praised efforts exerted by Jordan to counter terrorism and voiced its full solidarity with the Kingdom in this regard.

The Arab League also expressed its strong condemnation of the terror act that targeted an army post at Al Rakban area on the borders with Syria that killed a number of army and security personnel.

Egypt has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the border with Syria that killed and injured a number of Jordanian army and security personnel.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry expressed its condolences to the government and people of Jordan as well as the families of the victims.

The statement also stressed Egypt's full solidarity and support to Jordan in countering all forms of terrorism that target the Kingdom's security and stability.

It also highlighted Egypt's stance that called for adopting an effective strategy to fight terrorism.
