The source told Petra's reporter in Kuwait that "in light of regional security conditions and as part of precautionary measures taken by the Kuwaiti security forces, the passengers were evacuated to search the aircraft." The source described as "groundless" reports saying explosive device was found on the plane. A Kuwaiti local newspapers reported that an "unknown person" claimed allegiance to the Daesh terrorist group reported a bomb on board the plane carrying 230 passengers.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A source at the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry, Saturday, denied that a bomb was found on board Jordan-bound flight.

The source told Petra's reporter in Kuwait that "in light of regional security conditions and as part of precautionary measures taken by the Kuwaiti security forces, the passengers were evacuated to search the aircraft." The source described as "groundless" reports saying explosive device was found on the plane.

A Kuwaiti local newspapers reported that an "unknown person" claimed allegiance to the Daesh terrorist group reported a bomb on board the plane carrying 230 passengers.
