Jordan imports diesel to cover supply gap

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company has started to import diesel since February to cover local demand as the company's production covers only 60 per cent, according to company' sources.

The sources said the imported diesel shipments fully meet Jordanian standards, adding that there has been no shortage in the market. A total of 288 tons of diesel will imported over a period of 6 months or 48,000 tons a month.
