King calls for concerted international effort to combat terror

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Tuesday, met with Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, and discussed with him efforts to combat terrorism and extremism.

The meeting, which was attended by HRH Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II, also touched upon regional developments, mainly the Syrian issu and efforts to find a solution to the crisis.

The King and the Japanese premier stressed the need to support refugee-host countries including Jordan.

The Japanese primer emphasized the need to support Jordan to extend assistance to refugees, pledging his country's support to Jordan.

They also underlined the importance of resuming Palestinian-Israelis peace negotiations based on the two- state solution.
