Home Jordan News Border guards abort infiltration attempt into Syria 30-07-2015 12:32 PM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The border guards arrested a man and referred him to concerned authorities following an attempt yesterday morning to infiltrate from Jordan into Syria, Spokesperson of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army said. The spokesperson said the Armed Forces has repeatedly asserted that the borders' security and the security of Jordanians is a red line, adding that it will deal firmly with anyone who tries to infiltrate the borders with the use of all possible means. He said that the border guards received 71 Syrian refugees of various age groups over the past 48 hours. The guards provided the refugees with the necessary aid before transferring them to refugee camps. The Jordanian Royal Medical Services' cadres also administered first aid to patient refugees at stations along the border.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The border guards arrested a man and referred him to concerned authorities following an attempt yesterday morning to infiltrate from Jordan into Syria, Spokesperson of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army said.

The spokesperson said the Armed Forces has repeatedly asserted that the borders' security and the security of Jordanians is a red line, adding that it will deal firmly with anyone who tries to infiltrate the borders with the use of all possible means.

He said that the border guards received 71 Syrian refugees of various age groups over the past 48 hours.
