World Bank provides grant to improve education services in Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan and the World Bank signed on Thursday a $587,000 grant agreement for the Strengthening Accountability for Improved Education Services project in Jordan.

The agreement was signed by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury and Fred Belhadj, regional director of the World Bank for the Middle East.

The project, which will be implemented by the ministry of education, aims to develop the education sector through establishing an education quality and accountability unit in addition to enhancing the governance of the education sector.
