King arrives in Sharm El Sheikh to attend Arab summit

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Saturday arrived in the Egyptian resort of Sharm El Sheikh to lead Jordan's delegation to the 26th Arab League Summit that starts today.

Upon arrival at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, the King was welcomed by Egyptian President Abdul Fatah Al Sisi.

His Majesty is accompanied by Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour, Royal Court Chief, Fayez Tarawneh, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Nasser Judeh, Director of the king's Office, Jafaar Hassan, as well as Jordan's Ambassador to Egypt and its permanent representatives to the Arab League, Bishr Khasawneh.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
