Talks during the meeting dealt with regional and international developments, efforts to address issues and challenges, mainly about combating terrorism and extremism in addition to efforts to achieve peace in the region. The King and the US Senator also reviewed Jordanian-US ties as well as ways to further boost them in various fields. Senator Inhofe voiced appreciation of efforts led by King Abdullah to address challenges facing the Middle East as well as the King's relentless endeavors to enhance security and stability in the region. He also stressed the US' continued support to Jordan which is playing a vital role in this regard. The meeting was attended by the director of the King's Office and the US ambassador to Jordan.
