A PSD statement particularly cautioned motorists driving along the desert roads, which had been hit by the dust storm and strong winds that significantly reduced visibility. It also warned citizens of the danger of skidding in various areas across the Kingdom lashed by rains. The PSD Media Centre urged citizens to cooperate with the traffic police posted on the roads and to call its operations room and control centre for inquiries about the condition of roads. *Petra

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Public Security Department (PSD) on Sunday urged motorists to take extra precautions as the country has come under the effect of a sandstorm that brought gusty winds and occasional rainfall.

A PSD statement particularly cautioned motorists driving along the desert roads, which had been hit by the dust storm and strong winds that significantly reduced visibility. It also warned citizens of the danger of skidding in various areas across the Kingdom lashed by rains.

The PSD Media Centre urged citizens to cooperate with the traffic police posted on the roads and to call its operations room and control centre for inquiries about the condition of roads.
