The General Director of the Islamic Waqf and Al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, said in a statement that today's raid by the radical settlers was carried out from the Bab Al-Magharebah Gate under heavy protection of Israeli police. Al-Khatib added that the settlers toured the compound and performed Talmudic rites, before they left the shrine.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Groups of Jewish extremists and settlers early Tuesday broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem in a new violation of the sanctity of one of Islam's holiest places of worship, a Palestinian source confirmed.
