In a statement, the CDD’s urged people to drive carefully, especially as the rain starts to fall, so as to avoid slippery road accidents, and poor visibility . Asthmatic patients, are also advised to keep their necessary medications to avoid breathing disorder, due to the expected dusty conditions mainly at the desert highways. The statement also urged citizens to stay away from valley runoffs, and to move from low-altitude areas to safer places. In case of emergency, the CDD can be reached on 911.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Civil Defence Department (CDD), on Thursday, urged the public to take precautionary measures during the prevailing weather conditions.

In a statement, the CDD’s urged people to drive carefully, especially as the rain starts to fall, so as to avoid slippery road accidents, and poor visibility .
