Relatively cold weather forecast Tuesday, unstable conditions Wednesday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but relatively cold weather will prevail in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with high and medium clouds and a chance for light showers in the southern regions.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said the Kingdom will be affected by unstable weather conditions as of Wednesday night, bringing cloudy skies with scattered showers mainly in the southern parts of the country, accompanied with thunder at times.
On Thursday, the country will remain under the impact of the unstable conditions. Therefore, relatively cold and partly cloudy weather will continue to prevail with southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the southern and eastern parts of the country.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 17 degrees Celsius dropping down to 8 and 10 degrees respectively, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register a high of 28 degrees dropping down to 14 degrees at night, the JMD added.
