Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The last Jordanian student studying in violence-hit Hyderabad University in India, Awas Tarawneh, arrived in the Kingdom at dawn on Sunday, according to the Foreign Ministry.

From the moment it received the news about the eruption of violence in the university campus, the ministry contacted the concerned authorities and moved all Jordanian students to a safer place, in preparation for flying them back home, the ministry's spokesperson, Sabah Rifai explained.

The Jordanian embassy in New Delhi is following up the investigation with the Indian authorities to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the violence and to compensate the harmed students, she added.
