31st Jerash Festival kicks off

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The 31st Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts kicked off on Thursday at the ancient Roman city, 48km to the north of Amman.

Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Hani Mulki opened the several-day ceremony.

Several leading Jordanian and Arab artists are participating in the festival, including celebrity singers like Latifa, Kazim Al Saher, Wael Jassar, Najwa Karam, in addition to Jordanian singers including Toni Qattan, Yahia Sweis, Hussein Al Salman and others.

Several other activities will be held at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman.
