250 Jordanian Salafists Fighting in Syria

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian Salafi Jihadi current announced on Saturday that it sent 250 members to fight Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria.

A source in the movement told UPI that among the 250 fighters are Salafi leaders that are carrying out important missions in Damascus, Daraa, Aleppo, and Edlib.

Jordan's Salafi Jihadi current had announced the death of two of its members in Syria last week in a mission they performed in Daraa, southern Syria, reportedly drove two trucks into a military installation of the Syrian army.

Members and supporters of the Salafi Jihadi current in Jordan are estimated to reach 5,000 throughout the Kingdom, UPI reported.
