Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Prime Minister Abdullah Nsour announced that the Jordanian government is considering openning a new refugee camp for Syrians fleeing into the country in the area of Mreijib al-Fhoud, 20 kilometers east of Zarqa.
He said during a visit to the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in the border city of Mafraq, that his visit had no political aim.
He was accompanied with the Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, Interior Minister Awad Khlaifat, Minister of Media affairs and Government Spokesperson Samih Maaytah, and five other cabinet members.
He explained that the Jordan Armed Forces will set up the camp, which will cost around $20 million, noting that the camp needs no less than $100 million to ensure its sustainability.
