Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The special investigatory commission for allegations of human rights violations in score of special education centers, revealed violations, including finding iron and wooden crates are believed to have been used for the beneficiaries ,according to head of investigation commission Muhiyedeen Touq.
He said in a press conference which was held Tuesday that the investigation also revealed presence of wounds and bruises on the bodies of some of the beneficiaries in these centers.
Touq added that some centres were closed ,where as others are subject to maintenance.
In turn, Minister of Social Development Wajih Azayzeh has sent a copy of the results to the Prime Minister to be delivered to the King, expressing his confession that he failed to do his duties at the ministry and apologized in advance for all the people with disabilities.
He explained that the life of the government probably will not last two months, pledging to do his best during his service as minister .Explaining that what happened is a national problem and not just governmental one. He added that joint efforts needed to correct the problems.
The Commission for investigation and evaluation of the centers worked through the previous period heavily on follow-up and inspection of private and government centres .
