Muasher who is vice president for studies at the Carnegie Endowment, told Ammonnews over the phone that the reports are baseless( ..)He said "I meet Annan lately only in the United States of America and will not accompany him to Syria. I am calling from Washington ",. he added . Earlier, Syrian media outlets reported that Muasher is accompanying Annan in his mission to Syria ,Monday, adding that they will meet president Basshar Assad on Tuesday.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – Marwan Muasher, the former Jordanian minister of foreign affairs on Monday denied that reports that he accompanied UN special envoy to Syria Kofi Annan .
